John Maxie, owner of John's Automotive Repair, had always wanted to own a garage. After three years of working for an auto repair business, the opportunity to purchase the business became a reality. Maxie jumped at the chance. He had already built a rapport with its customer base. Maxie is known for his quality of work and excellent customer service.

Kentucky is home to more than 6,700 arts related businesses that employ 24,400 people - nearly four times as many as Toyota or Ford. The arts are a big business in Kentucky and the Kentucky Small Business Development Center (KSBDC) is working to grow that business with an exciting new program - Access to Market (ATM).
